I live in a difficult to design house. can't come up with furniture layout, tried everything. can't afford pro? - small house layout

Small house with kitchen, living / dining room almost every quarter. No space for dining table. We can not afford to design. Where can I find ideas? I see HGTV and style .... does not help. Lived here for 6 years. and I'm still firm.
