The law in Wyoming, you can use the following information on a rental application:
The traffic on the desired date
Type the desired unit
Lease
Applicant information including SS # DL #, birth date, home and work phone
The names of the people and their relationship to the applicant
Applicant or occupants of vehicles
History of employment - current and past employers and contact information.
The history of the car - car 2 includes more than the owner / administrator contact information.
Recipes
Credit and other financial information - the institutions, the types of accounts, credit cards, loans for vehicles and other information
More info - non-smoking, pets, bankruptcy, eviction, etc., with water-filled furniture
Personal references
Emergencies
Authorization to verify all information on the Credit Bureau, please contact with your current and previous employers, current and previous landlords and personal references
The themes are very similar to what I saw in applications for leasing in California. The format is different, that's all. What seems unimportant to you?
It seems perfectly normal to me. What seems to be unimportant, may not be what the owners considered relevant in case of breach of lease.
Anything that is legitimate. You are authorized, on request, or to discriminate against a protected group. So do not ask race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, etc.
I had a candidate who gets angry when I asked him his name and work.
As a landlord, I am very curious about the questions you think are not relevant / non-self.
